Paint your own mimic Christmas ornament:
Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 1pm – 4pm
Come and join us for a fun painting session and get an ornament to take home. Here’s how it works:
1. Choose between two sizes of pre-primed ornaments. Event cost is $10 for a small ornament and $15 for a large one. There are 16 slots for this event and ornament styles are available on a first come basis as supplies are available.
2. Dragon’s Roost will supply the in house paint brushes and paint for this event, but you are always welcome to bring your own supplies as well.
3. We will be on hand providing painting tips and instruction to anyone that needs it. This event is beginner friendly and is open to all levels of painters. At the end of the event, you get to take home your own mimic ornament!
Any children under 12 MUST have an adult remain on the premises while they are here.
Secret Santa Painters Exchange:
Tuesday, December 31st, 2024 at 8pm
It’s time to start thinking about the 6th annual Secret Santa Painters Exchange! We are running this from tomorrow through December 31st, so you have plenty of time to do it! This is a VOLUNTARY ZERO PRESSURE EVENT. There is no sign up, just follow the guidelines below:
-Paint something and have it finished and wrapped by Dec. 31st. Do not put your name on it. In return, you will get to pick someone else’s mini as your gift exchange. Please note: You will be giving away the mini/minis you paint to someone else, permanently.
-Your model *MUST* be finished, wrapped, and physically at the exchange to participate, but you can be absent if need be, although it’s a lot more fun for the rest of us to watch you unwrap your mini.
– The exchange will be at 8pm on Dec 31st.
-You can paint any mini you want. The general *recommendation* is a single figure of your choosing, but paint what you want to paint! If you are going to go out and get something though, please try to purchase from the Dragons Roost and support us, your local game store! We do have some people who get super creative, making dioramas, Christmas/Yule/Holiday ornaments, etc. and that is totally fine, too. This is literally no pressure.
-No WIP pictures! It’s a Secret.
-We’ll put everything into a pile draw in random order from the pile until everyone has one.
-It’s all for fun, there’s no minimum ability. Just put your best effort into it and enjoy yourself!
-If you’re disappointed with your gift, be nice anyway – smile and say thank you. If you can’t do that, please don’t participate.
Humbugs will be given a glass of Malort to drink.
NOTE: We are changing the date to New Years Eve this year to accommodate everyone who couldn’t make it due to being out of town for Christmas.

Our lightly caffeinated refresher for the holiday season. It’s pomegranate, citrus, ginger, and cranberries.
Peppermint Bark Mocha
Espresso mixed with dark and white chocolate and peppermint to make a classic holiday taste.
Gingerbread White Mocha
No gingerbread mend were harmed in the making of this drink!
Aztec Hot Chocolate and Mochas
Inhouse made syrup with 3 kinds of spicy peppers, vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom, orange peels, nutmeg and dark chocolate.
Krampus
It’s back! A Dragon’s Roost favorite, the Krampus Latté is amaretto and bourbon caramel flavored.
Christmas Cookie
Sugar Cookie flavored latté with whipped cream and sprinkles.
Sugarplum Tea Oat Latte
We combined sweetened cinnamon plum tea with steamed oat milk for a truly enjoyable holiday drink.
